Jim Moran, a member of ISM, NCMA and IACCM, is the driving force behind JRM Supplier Consulting, LLC. He brings 20 years of success supporting corporate shared services organizations and sales business units across consulting, information technology and supply chain industries. His broad expertise encompasses strategic planning, development and sourcing, supplier relationship management, mentoring and contract negotiation and management.
In addition to heading JRM Supplier Consulting, Jim is a qualified CPSM exam instructor. He has held various leadership roles for the Institute for Supply Management -Philadelphia and currently serves as treasurer. Jim received an MBA in Contract and Acquisition Management from American Graduate University and a BS in Business Administration from LaSalle University.
An enthusiastic buy side leader with a Certified Purchasing Manager (ISM) certification, a Certified Professional in Supply Management (ISM) certification, a Certified Professional in Contract Management (NCMA) certification and a Commercial Contract Manager –Advanced Practitioner (IACCM) certification who advises and consults on indirect and expense category management, sourcing, supplier contract negotiation, supplier relationship management and supplier contract portfolio management requirements for cross functional domestic and global business unit teams. A professional, results oriented, multifunctional team leader and strategic thinker with a proven track record of providing high quality deliverables that exceed customer expectations for bottom line savings and/or process improvement through excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage and influence teams while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. He is also very passionate about transferring his process knowledge to those individuals who desire to learn from his experience.
